Domesticism at Its Greatest

This is me trying to be domestic:

First collection of tomatoes from my first garden.

Canned tomatoes.  Yep, I did it.

One of my favorite memories lately has been canning with Andi.  Who knew she'd be so fun and helpful with canning?!  She's great at washing and peeling the peaches and tomatoes.  Such a good buddy.

Salsa.  So glad I did this.  Next year I think I'll make more.  --'Cuz that's just how domestic I am!  :)

I made my mom's jam....My all-time favorite.

One of my most favorite treats to have around the house is banana or zucchini bread.  Any kind of muffins are also good.  A perfect comfort food that can add to any meal or it can provide a yummy treat for the girls. ....Or a treat for me...let's face it.

I painted Abbey's bed yellow for her birthday, so for Andi's birthday, she wanted her bed to be her favorite color:  PURPLE.  I think it turned out well.  I was excited about this project.
