We had a St. Patrick's Day party for the girls and their friends. 21 girls all in one house! It was definitely a party!

Abbey loves owls so much. She recently had a library book about all the different types of owls, so she decided to make a pamphlet of sorts that covered all the different types she was learning about. This is what she does for fun. We're pretty lucky to have this lady, aren't we?
Millie's favorite new routine is to hound Abbey every night when she practices her piano. Abbey's a good sport about it and I even caught her letting Millie "help" her play.

This was such a precious afternoon. Spring was just starting to show itself, so I took these two babies on a good walk in the 'hood. I used to do this all the time in Ogden with Andi. Very nostalgic and special.
I took this picture on a hill above our house. If you look closely, you can see some cleared land. It's the sight of our town's very own high school--to be opened in the Fall of 2018. I knew this high school was planned to be built when we bought our house and I'm excited our girls will go to a new, nice school so close to home.
Abbey's 4th grade class has "market day" every few weeks. Abbey finally earned her "business license" so she could sell stuff on these fun days. She made decorative safety pins...She's been doing this cute craft for a long time and it's so cute!

Enjoying a Friday night at Wendy's. Kids are happy with the food, I'm happy with the lack of dishes.
Spending a little time together before Andi and Millie and I went to the cabin for a weekend getaway while Eric and the girls celebrated Sheri's birthday.
On our way to the cabin, Andi listened to her headphones underneath her blanket. She's not even a teenager yet!

Two men of my heart
Mom and Dad watched Millie at the cabin for me so I could take Andi skiing up at Beaver Mountain. Such a fun afternoon.
I took a picture of this hill because I told Andi would tell people that she went down THIS HILL! It was the steepest hill she's been down yet and it tried her patience and ability to the max. I was so proud of her.

Playing Old Maid with Andi with the same card set I used to use with my grandma. My Grandma Bette and I had so many fun times with this card game when I was little.
I will try to include some pictures from Sheri's 40th birthday celebration (that took place the weekend I was at the cabin.) Pictures forthcoming.
First day back after the my long weekend at the cabin and I got to go see Ava's "show and teach" presentation at school. This isn't the best picture, but Ava's standing next to her teacher, presenting a poem that she memorized. ("Hug O'War by Shel Silverstein). I love going to the girls' classrooms.
This picture of my mom's car was one my mom wanted me to take before she traded it in. She loved this car, but it ended up being a total lemon.

Farmington Elementary's Annual "Author's Night/School Dance Party":
(Each student authors and creates their own books and presents them in their classrooms for the parents to come see. Afterwards the kids are invited to a little dance party in the gym. Love this fun tradition!)
