Birthday #32

Thank you to all my friends and family who gave me such a good day.
The notes, cards, phone calls, texts, and Facebook messages made it so lovely!
I know it's cheesy, but I was brought to tears several times because of everyone's kindnesses.  So grateful.

My Relief Society ladies brought me this cake for my birthday and it made my day.  Love those ladies.

I was spoiled for my 32nd day.  I got flowers, a quilt (from a neighbor!), some new clothes from Mom (along with a fun lunch and afternoon of shopping), tons of awesome cards, and other really sweet gifts.  Notice the new backsplash in the background--That was my gift from Eric.  Way to go, dude!--I'm so excited about it...It looks so good.

January 2014

This was the girls' first time at Surf 'n Swim and they loved it.  A little somethin' to get them through a cold weekend.

Andi and her cousin Gigi coloring together.

More Surf 'n Swim pics

This picture is sideways but as you can see, Eric rolled Andi into a burrito.  She thought it was pretty funny.

Here's our New Year's Resolutions.

My Michael's birthday.  It was snowing, which is why the picture looks blurry.

Abbey's Goals, Age 7
"1. Practice spelling.  2.  Try not to bite nails.  3.  Get better at piano."

Andi's Goals, Age 5
"1.  Get better at reading.  2. Be nice to Ava.  3.  Do More gymnastics and dance."

Ava's Goals, Age 4
1.  No whining.  2.  Be nice to Andi.  3.  Get ready for kindergarten next year.

Andi's first day of gymnastics.

We had a party for Michael's birthday on January 10th.  Michael's family and their family friend, Tericia, came along.  Along with some of her kids.

It felt good to have all of Michael's family over...for a lot of reasons, but most importantly, to allow Andi the chance to celebrate her father's life.

Beth made a killer cake.

My girl with her daddy's cake.

Daniel and Laura givin' Harry some of that good ol' lovin' that he's used to.

Sunday dinner at Grandma's house.  The cousins hangin' in the basement.

Andi reading to Gigi before we put her down for a nap.

My girls headed to a U. basketball game with Grandpa Luke and Eric.

Love it!  Go Utes!

We went to Classic Skating this last week.  Here's Ava on our scooter.  She loved it and worked hard!

Look at those skating girls!  I was so proud of them.

She did it!  She rollerbladed!

Abbey and her friend Allyson working on a school project.

Even though this is sideways, you can see how much the girls LOVE my mom's new dog, Zoe.

Here she is, Zoe Ray Luke.  A perfect addition to the Luke family.  My mom was excited to finally get another dog after her last one died last summer.
Can you see how I got to be a dog lover?

What a cool picture of Sheri's mom and sisters together while Suzanne was in town.  Abbey and Ava need to have this picture.  Gives me chills.

December 2013 #2

Here's Andi and Chloe in their new pajamas Grandma gave them.

My Grandpa Carter holding one of his great grandchildren, Bowen.

Ava decided she wanted to put on a show for all of us.  She got on the piano and started playing, but then requested that Grandpa sit with her while she "plays."

Our house and our girls on Christmas Eve.

Andi got her "holiday Ariel."

Harry got exactly what he wanted...more chews.
Check it out...a holiday chew.

My Christmas present from Eric.
It was a long night the night before...no judging.

Eric's new sunglasses.

Harry in his new shirt, eating his new chew.  He didn't even mind the hood on his face...that's how good the chew was.

The cousins on Christmas.

My Christmas present from Andi.  Made the whole season.  Love that girl.

Grandpa Jim came to stay over Christmas vacation.

The usual bed-time silly sisters.

It finally happened!  Abbey lost one of her two front teeth!
