| Andi finished her first chapter book! (A Baby-Sitter's Club book that I loved when I was little.) |

| Abbey and I completed her family tree that she got at Activity Days. It's special for many reasons, but to me, the first thing I noticed was how she added me to her family tree. It made me tear up. So grateful for her thoughtful and kind heart. It meant so much to me. |

| Some of Abbey's recent work at school. They're learning about habitats, plants, and different kinds of animals. I loved some of these darling pictures. They made me laugh. (The turtle laying eggs, the frog eating a fly, the cute owl sitting on its perch--her favorite animal.) |

| This little six-year old stayed busy after homework by putting together all of the Valentine's cards for her class. She is so excited for her Valentine's party at school tomorrow. She even made her own Valentine's box. |

| Millie and I got treated by Grandma for lunch at Robintino's. The big news of the meal was that she sucked out of a straw FOR THE FIRST TIME! Ha! |

| I tended my nephew Bo this morning and he was tired so he cuddled with Harry on our bed and watched Cars. Or, as he likes to call it, "McQueen." |

| Look at the comments written by Ava's teacher on her report card this last term. Ahhh...So good to see these good things. Ava is a very smart girl and has progressed a lot throughout first grade so far. |
