Eric's Scout Trip

Eric went on a "high adventure" scouting trip with the Priests in our ward in August.  He has been a Priest leader for three years now, so this was his third year going.  They usually leave on a Monday and get back on a Saturday, so it's not a small trip.  It is admittedly my least favorite part of him serving in Young Mens, but I know he enjoys it.  I feel I am blessed with help when he is gone and most importantly, he has always stayed safe.

I've loved learning about the boys through Eric.  This calling has meant a lot to him and it's been a testimony to me that this calling was by no accident.  He was meant to do this and it's made a difference in his life.  I know also that he has left an impact upon those he served and I've been proud to see it.

Here are some of his favorite pictures from the trip.  He took his nice camera, so he got some great shots.  They went to Wind Rivers, Wyoming and hiked most of the days.
