Chris' Birthday

Big days like birthdays and anniversaries have become opportunities for me to remember the people I love.  This year, Chris' birthday was no different.  For some reason this year, I spent a lot of time thinking about my brother...more than usual.
And I just wanna' tell my brother Chris, just in case he might have access to cyberspace, that our family is simply not complete without you.
And I am coming to appreciate you more and more the older I get.
It's been so nice lately to think about your life in a way that has renewed my love and loyalty towards you.  All the great memories I have of you have flooded back to me once again and I reminded of what a wonderful, good man you were.  You were such a good guy.  So cool, so fun.  I am so very proud of you and proud to call you my brother.
In honor of you and of Aunt Jeanne's passing, I am posting this picture...one of my favorites.  My handsome brother being the usual kind, service-oriented man towards our Aunt Jeanne:
