May was a big month. Lots of things going on with the end of school and all. Here are some memories we made....
Ava thought it was pretty cool to have gray hair. :)
On May 3rd Andi and I went up to Hyde Park to join the celebrating of Daniel's graduation from Utah State. Here's Gigi in their backyard during the festivities.
Maelee the darling princess in her backyard.
Andi took a picture of her two cousins, Maelee and Gigi.
The champion.
It finally happened, folks....Her first lost tooth.
She was waiting for this day for years!!!
It came out at bedtime, right after we brushed her teeth.
Pretty exciting. :)
Still posing post-tooth loss.
Check out that hair. Perfect, if I do say so myself.
This girl's got a good head a' hair.
Abbey played a piano song during her school class' talent show.
Unfortunately I forgot to get a picture of it, so here she is the afternoon after her performance.
She played a "popcorn" song and she did it perfectly.
I was so proud of her. Classy and cute.
Playing with cousin Chloe at the park below our house.
Abbey is so good at taking care of Harry.
Loving the evenings on the tramp.
I adore him.
Who wouldn't?
My Mother's Day cards.
Makes a girl feel loved.
Celebrating Mother's Day at Lori's house.
A little mother-daughter posing for the camera.
Love my family.
The flowers Eric got me for Mother's Day.
I should have planted them. So pretty. Love getting flowers.
Don't know where we were, but this was probably taken when someone stole my phone and was playing with it. :) Cute shot, nonetheless.
Ava went with me one morning to help with me with some Relief Society stuff. Here she is being a good sport.
All spiffed up and ready for school.
Last few days of kindergarten. Can't believe how this year has flown.
Good work!
My sister Lori and her husband Gabe ran the Ogden half marathon one morning, so I took her kids up there to meet them at the finish line.
My brother-in-law, Scott, and his dad on that same race day.
They all did half marathons.
Go hard or go home, dude.
Andi playing after the race.
Giving some rock climbing a try.
Two peas in a pod.
Tending baby Bowen one morning for Leslie.
I love this child. Almost too cute, I tell ya'.
Our garden before Eric got his hands on it.
A huge mess. More garden, junk, and weeds than we can handle.
Celebrating my brother Chris' bday on the 20th.
Enjoying a little breakfast for dinner.
The cousins getting wet from the sprinklers at Chris' grave.
Harry waiting for the basement to be done.
He waited for five months, right along with the rest of us.
Abbey at her 2nd grade end-of-school program.
Ava playing with my dad at Abbey's program.
Grandma and Grandpa Zimmerman came all the way up here to see Abbey's show. So cute.
Abbey trying on her newly-delivered baptism dress. Her Aunt Suzanne (from Louisiana) made this dress for her and sent it back to us with her mom. Here Abbey is trying it on for the first time.
Isn't it perfect?
So perfect, in fact, that I feel terribly guilty for the hours and hours and HOURS it must have put her back. If she ever does any of the other girls' dresses, we may need to keep it more simple.
It's clear, though, Suzanne's got skills.
Putting on some pretty flowers that Beverly gave us from her yard to use on graves for Memorial Day.
Ava with Miss Lori at her preschool graduation.
Love this pic.
With Grandma and Grandpa Zim at preschool graduation!
The graduate
Helping Dad put the workout room floor together.
Playing with Uncle Isaac at the tramp park.
Gigi, Bethany, Isaac, and Cathi joined me and the girls one evening for some tramp park fun.
Isaac gave us a gift card for it for Christmas so it only seemed appropriate to have him come with.
Beth and Cathi.
My dear sister-in-law Beth is due with her second baby in August with girl #2!
Playing some dodgeball at the tramp park.
Root beer floats at Grandma Cathi's.
Andi at her gymnastics program. Green skirt. A little shy. :)
Hooray for the gymnastics grad!
Some pictures I took of Abbey one evening for her baptism invitations.
Love the above facial expression.
This pose was my fave.
Sprinklers on the tramp!
Summer is here!
Andi's kindergarten program.
There's Andi sitting in line with her classmates, with her teacher, Miss Huckins, directing.
Love Miss Huckins.
My kindergarten baby.
The garden showing progress. Eric's planting grass!
Hallelujah for less weeds.
The girls made cards for their teachers.
Andi had to give hers to Miss Huckins later, though, because she got sick on the last day of school.
Abbey's class was learning about different states and parts of the world.
Family members who live out of the area were asked to send information about their homelands.
Abbey received a letter in the mail from Grandma and Grandpa Allen about Montana.
It was a fun thing to share with her class, and very cool because Abbey has plenty of roots in Montana.
