| Andi's Uncle Isaac works for the Real Salt Lake soccer team and he got his hands on a ticket that would allow a kid in his life the chance to help walk the team out to the field before a game in September. So here Andi is, dressed in a soccer uniform and all, walking out one of the star players of Real Salt Lake. She was "embarrassed," but super excited and it made her feel special, I think. |

| It was kind of fun watching Isaac do his job. He's good at what he does and it was good to be with him. Sometimes life gets busy and I start missing our Allen family. Soothes the soul. |

| My nephew Luke has taken a special interest in Millie and I love it so much. He is truly the coolest, funniest, most creative kid I know. Love him. |

| On this day, our family all went to my mom and dad's church because my niece Lydia played the piano for their sacrament meeting. Grandpa Carter (above) came too. Here he was after the meeting at my mom's house. He's the only grandpa I've ever known. He's growing frail but he still stays very alert and active. |

| Look at these two cute little ladies. I love them. Our little Abbey has really seemed to blossom so far this year in 4th grade. So confident and funny. She has her own little style of humor and fun. So proud of her. |

| This was an exciting moment. One evening after all the girls were tucked in bed, Andi came running upstairs in a bit of a frenzy....Another loose tooth finally came out and it was another bleeder! We spent a good amount of time cleaning up all the blood, but were then able to take this picture afterwards. Look at that gappy smile! My girl is growing. I love the enthusiasm she has for all the new experiences and adventures she has. She has a zest for life that comes from Michael. |

| I signed Abbey up for a sewing class and she's in Abbey Heaven. This is totally Abbey's scene. She's excelling in this class and has thoroughly enjoyed the projects. Here she is one night when I picked her up. She was beginning a bag-making project. |

| Sometimes cooking gets old for me. I enjoying the end products, but I do get wary of dinnertime cooking, which is why I feel the need to take a picture when I feel motivated and happy with my work. |

| I bought one of those baby fruit holders with mesh so she can suck on it. She's loved it and it's fun watching her work away at it. :) |

| On Labor Day, we took a walk on Farmington's Lagoon trail. Love my home town. |

| Also on Labor Day weekend, we spent a couple of nights up at Bear Lake with my mom and dad. They took us out to dinner on Friday night. Here's Ava enjoying Grandpa at the restaurant after swimming. |

| My dad took the girls swimming one morning while we were staying at the cabin. He was so cute with them. He made them listen to Johnny Cash on their way and they came back singing his songs. Loved it! |

| She has officially taken over Harry's bed |

| Eric's the man. One Saturday morning in September he took the girls on a hike up to "Flag Rock," a well-known hiking destination on our Farmington mountains. The flag is permanently stationed up there on a protruding rock. You can see the flag from our house, although you have to look for it. Isn't that view incredible? So proud of these people! I love seeing them spend time with Eric like that. Great memories. |
