This month has gone by fast.

I volunteered to do Abbey's class bulletin board for the month of May.

So one Friday afternoon, my mom watched Millie and the four of us ladies worked together...sort of.

It was a "teacher appreciation" bulletin board.

I need to be reminded to not volunteer for things when I still have a new baby.

Leave it to me to keep it simple!

On this day--May 4, 2015--my Millie girl rolled over for the first time!

Ava told me she did it and I totally didn't believe her until I saw her do it for myself.

Four months and one day old...She rocks!

One Saturday evening Eric spent down at the tennis courts with his good buddy Paul, putting up a sign for the neighborhood walkabout. Proud of my hubby for fulfilling his duties so well.

This is something I saw and wanted to keep. It spoke to me because, like many, my life has been full of imperfect roads. Sometimes I wish I would have done things differently. This was a simple but good reminder of the attitude we need to carry with us in spite of all our "what ifs."

Lately for every Sunday dinner, the girls and their cousins like to gather at Grandpa's water fountain and play in it. I can't get them away from it! They collect rocks and get all wet. :)

One on one time at one of our favorite Chinese restaurants. I took her here after dance one night.

This was a big day. Ava has an earnings chart. I told her if she gets two smiley faces every day for a whole week then I'd take her to Zupas. It took her a while to get there, but she kept on trying! Look at that face of satisfaction for a job well done! Very proud of this lady. This accomplishment actually represents a lot more than people may realize. She has come a long way and I am proud.

When Eric lifts weights at night, he usually has some female friends watching him. And sometimes those female friends like to work out right along with him.

Andi's first grade class on a field trip to the USU Botanical Gardens in Kaysville. Andi loved it.

The book Andi wrote using my computer. Her new latest thing is getting on my computer and playing around. (Which is why Eric was assigned the task of cleaning off his old computer so we can make it the one for the kids to use. He is the best and actually did it.) Loving that they want to type and write.

This little guy is my nephew Noah. We got him a Barnes and Noble gift card for his fifth birthday and this is what he got.

His birthday will always be meaningful to me because he was born just weeks before Michael died. He is a good boy and I love him.

My little buddy has found her fingers and loves to put them (and everything else!) in her mouth.

Loving these beautiful blooms growing on my mailbox. I am in constant awe of the beautiful plants we are surrounded by in our yard. We are spoiled.

May 3, 2015. She's 4 months old, people. Look out!

My sister-in-law, Bethany, often arranges beautiful flowers for me on big days.

Mother's Day is no exception. How I love her.

I love this.

I have this hanging on my wall and on Mother's Day this year, it caught my eye once again.

A good reminder that we'll always be connected to our children in one way or another.

This Mother's day had a notable feel to it because Millie was here and I have felt more completeness in our family.

I was showered with kind messages and cards and homemade gifts on Mother's Day.

This is proof that I am an organized woman!

Six or more years ago I packed up some bins full of Andi's used baby clothes.

Last week I pulled this bin out for the first time and I felt much emotion seeing those clothes! Not only because of my pride in saving all these great clothes that we can now use for Millie, but also because it brought back so many tender memories.

My girl did a job well done. She sang with only two other girls a song in front of the whole school and then again that night for parents.

The coolest part was that the Griffins came to see her. She was thrilled.

She loves her cousins so much.

One Friday evening we ventured to City Creek for a quick dinner at the food court and an outing for the girls. Look at my darling family. Love them.

Nursing hasn't come particularly easy with Millie but I can at least say I'm sticking with it...sort of. I started supplementing about three months into it. (As hard as that was to do.) During this last month I finally felt like I found a good routine though and I'm still nursing her quite a bit. That was my goal so I'm not complaining.
